I was born in 1977, in Hampshire in the South of England.
I grew up in a small market town, with my parents and my brother.

There wasn't a great deal to do when I was younger, so I got involved with the local theatre group, RAODS, performing in several productions, but mainly musicals and pantomimes.
My favourite role so far, had to be one of Major General Stanley's daughters in The Pirates Of Penzance.
I am still involved with the theatre, but I focus mainly on backstage work (I particularly enjoy Props). It is also where I met my partner, Martin, in 2001. He is very interested in theatre lighting.


In 1997, I enrolled at The University of Southampton, School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Much of my nurse training was 'on the job' and I was a student nurse on several wards at Southampton General Hospital.
After 3 fantastic and (mostly) memorable years, I graduated in 2000. I went on to get a job in Neurosciences, where I still work today.


I currently live just outside Southampton with Martin, who is an electronics engineer (I don't know much more than that... I don't really understand it all!). We are both lodgers of Binx the cat.


My main interest (apart from the theatre) is smart cars.
I passed my driving test in November '04 and decided that I was going to get a Smart. (I had fallen in love with them a few years previously).
Since getting the car, I have taken part in 2 London to Brighton runs, ('04 and '05), A 'Billing Smartfest weekend', and countless local meets.


I also enjoy going out with my friends, camping (in the warmer weather), making greetings cards and playing around on the computer (as well as keeping this website, I am a member of several forums). I am also interested in the paranormal and have a vast collection of fairies (not real ones!!).
